About Defence Matters

Defence Matters is an independent news and analysis website focused on European security, defence policy, and the strategic environment shaping the continent. The site covers defence procurement, military capabilities, industrial policy, deterrence, alliance politics, and the operational realities driving changes in European armed forces.

Our reporting tracks developments across NATO and the European Union, as well as national defence policies in Europe.
